A Lukatino Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for:
Coordinating and managing the pickup and delivery of ground-transported cargo
Negotiating the best rates with vendors, the most cost-effective delivery options with customers,
and the most efficient routes with drivers.
Fulfilling an administrative role by filing the appropriate paperwork, monitoring driver progress,
processing orders, and managing driver concerns.
Initiate, receive and respond to shipment status phone calls, emails, and instant messages from
internal and
external customers.
Update and input load-related information in corporate CRM (software), and other
applicable locations.
Build new and maintain current relationships with freight brokers, customers and drivers.
Deliver world-class service to our carriers, customers, drivers and Lukatino teammates.
Lead the negotiation of rates with the brokers or customers to obtain competitive rates.
Fulfill other duties as required
As a Lukatino Senior Logistics Coordinator, you are the first line of defense in protecting Lukatino and
our
customers through proactive tracking and tracing processes, effective communication, data integrity, and
value-added risk mitigation procedures. The key to your success is driving results and profitability
through demonstrated initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and strategic thinking.
Requirements
Excellent level of English, both written and verbal
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and management skills
Computer literacy
Customer support experience
Strong geographical and timezones knowledge of the USA
At least one year experience in OTR dispatch
Knowledge and experience in load boards, such as DAT, Truck Stop, etc.
Knowledge of freight and DOT regulations
Great internet connection and a reliable personal computer
